Ms. CAiro's Third Grade
Second grade and kindergarten worked so hard to create a gnome to share with a buddy! Our class had a blast getting to know Mrs. Anderson's class! Looking forward to getting to know them better in the new year!

It was so much fun learning about the traditions in Germany, and the similarities to Christmas celebrations that many families in our class participate in. It was interesting to read the many "myths" as to where "the pickle ornament" came from. The best part was making our own pickles for the Christmas tree! Thank you Mrs. Butler and Mrs. Pinto for coming in to sew with us! Thank you, Mrs. Kuder and Coco for coming in to help with Poinsettia paintings! Thank you to Ms. Chalcraft for donating the sponges! A HUGE thank-you to the Levine family for allowing Margot to bring such treasures-a menorah and wonderful Hanukkah books- into class to share with us! It was wonderful to hear about Hanukkah and special traditions from Margot! The children enjoyed making dreidels, which they played with throughout the week! I cannot believe that last year's elf from Mrs. Hopkins' class came back this year to visit with his favorite students! What fun Wally was to have in our classroom!! Thank you, Kristin Kessler, for teaching us how to make these beautiful turtles! The children are PROFESSIONALS at blanket stitching!! As a culminating, whole-class project, the children created an attribute chart representing some of their favorite books from our Tomie deploy author study! |
