Ms. CAiro's Third Grade
Eden and Finn are working hard differentiating between different types of sentences while working in a small group! The children completed a candy corn math activity, in which they rolled dice to generate a two digit number. They practiced writing their number in standard form, expanded form, word form, and separating the tens and ones. We practiced estimating and measuring the length of the tables, pieces of paper, the fish tank, and other miscellaneous objects in the classroom. We used unifix cubes for our measuring tools! (Look closely at the picture to see the unifix cubes lined up on the edge of the table)
